Spring/Summer Season

We're one of the nation's largest independent baseball leagues for both "semi-experienced and experienced" players. We have both men and women players in our league. We schedule nine inning games with a limited stealing rule and liberal substitution to ensure that all players get the maximum benefit and enjoyment while playing baseball in our league.

Ages

What aged players are appropriate for this program?

Men must be at least 47 years of age at game time while women can play if they're at least 21 years age at game time.

When

What time of the year does this program run?

You can expect the "season" to run from February to October. Actual games usually start in April and end in September, however; teams start practicing with indoor cages as early as January with tournaments going through October.

Where

Where are games typically held?

We have been fortunate to have steady committments with several fields in recent years. A lot of games are played at Northwest Open Space in Northglenn, Denver Christian Academy in Denver and Overland High School in Aurora.

Practices

When are practices and how often are they?

It depends. Most teams do not practive once the season starts as games are weekly, but there are a handful that might schedule practices from time to time during the season. Practices usually are consistent from January until the season starts in April to get ready for play.

Games

How many games will they play? What days of the week?

A typical schedule will have 14-16 games played each season. American division teams typically play on Saturday and National division teams typically play on Sunday, however; it is not uncommon for those divisions to play opposite days.

Jerseys

Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?

Usually jersey's are paid for by the player once that person makes the team. You can expect to pay anywhere from $40-$100 for your jersey(s).

Extra Costs

What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?

You should expect it to cost between $295-$350 for your league fees depending on your team’s roster size. You might also spend up to $50-$300 on “lumber”. Lots of help is available in these areas. Of course, you will need your own equipment (gloves, rubber/moulded plastic spikes, helmet etc) so be prepared to spend happy moments and $$ in your local or online sporting goods store.

2025

This is the Registration page for the Colorado Over 50 Baseball League.  If you know what team you are going to play on, please make sure to select it in the drop down menu.

If you are looking to be a pool player in hopes of getting on a team, please do not select one, but finish the registration.
