2009 NABA SPRING TRAINING EXPERIENCE TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS

Congratulations to the Rockies, managed by Dwight Podgurski, who won the Top Division at the NABA Spring Training Experience in Phoenix during March 19th to March 22nd.  The Rockies scored 5 runs in the top of the 9th inning to defeat the Cubs 13-9 in the Championship game.  Players included Jerry Malberg from the Fossils, Mike Carroll, Billy Smith, and Dwight Podgurski from the Browns, Mark Danuser and Lynn Newkirk from the Shredders,  Doug Kruckman and John Wells from the Batmen, Tom Reeves from the Grizzlies, Jerry Kathan, on loan from the Cubs, and Craig Rickman who plays with the Silverado's in Phoenix.
